CATALONIA AGAINST ANTISEMITISM
Following the brutal terrorist attack of October 7, 2023 in Israel and the subsequent war against Hamas that quickly escalated into a regional conflict, Catalonia experienced a worrying increase in anti-Zionist demonstrations that led to open expressions of anti-Semitism.
Faced with this reality, the Emet-Verdad Foundation emerged, a citizens' initiative committed to denouncing antisemitism in all its forms and to defending the fundamental rights of Jewish communities in Catalonia.
Our foundation was created with the aim of making visible, documenting and combating hate speech and acts, as well as promoting coexistence based on respect, truth and dialogue between cultures.
